India’s Coal Production Surges 5.73% to 928.95 MT (April 2024 – Feb 2025)
Coal production hits 928.95 MT by February 2025, a 5.73% rise from last year’s 878.55 MT.
Coal dispatch follows suit, climbing 5.50% to 929.41 MT from 880.92 MT.
A strong stride towards energy self-reliance
Coal production from Captive and Other entities stood at 173.58 MT up to February 2025, registering a 30.16% increase from 133.36 MT in the corresponding period last year.
Coal dispatch from Captive and Other entities surged to 178.02 MT by February 2025, marking an impressive 31.90% growth from 134.96 MT in the same period last year.
