The UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a national-level exam conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. The exam is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of UGC.

2. Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (for General category).
50% marks for OBC, SC, ST, PwD categories.
Final year students can also apply.
Age Limit:
JRF: Maximum 30 years (Relaxation of 5 years for reserved categories).
Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
3. Exam Pattern:
The exam consists of two papers:
Paper 1: General Aptitude (Teaching & Research Aptitude)
50 Questions
100 Marks
Duration: 1 Hour
Paper 2: Subject-Specific (Based on the subject chosen by the candidate)
100 Questions
200 Marks
Duration: 2 Hours
Both papers are conducted in a single session without breaks.

Upload documents (photo, signature, educational certificates).
Pay the application fee online.
